Piquersa

At present, Piquersa is the second manufacturer for construction machinery and urban cleaning machinery in Spain. Its range of sweepers is complemented by different leading brands imported from different European countries. The experience of distributing different brands for more than 20 years and the contact with the market has provided to us a esteemed feedback based on opinions from our clients and users. Most of models of the current international market are based on a Sweeping system based on SUCTION or VACUUM. This is a completely different system than mechanical system that Piquersa design and produces.

SWEEPING QUALITY:
The sweeping quality of a vacuum or suction model is not comparable with a Mechanical Sweeping system. Vacuum models based clean the ground by suction. They are destined only to asphalted areas with a small to medium volume of residues and low weight. Nevertheless for a suction sweeper, is a problem to clean residues with a bigger volume, as well as the point to clean high volumes of earth and dust, due to they are not destined for this purpose. The result is that all internal components of the machine suffer a high damage because of the abrasion (stuck filters and must be replaced for new ones; turbines and fans of the sweeping system suffer in the same sense). The difference with Piquersa sweeping system is that this situation does not occur. This is because the sweeping system is completely mechanical and it has not filters, turbines or fans. This difference makes that the maintenance of a Piquersa Sweeper has a much lower cost; the sweeping performance is less noisy.

MAINTENANCE.
The maintenance of a vacuum sweeper is much harder. Consider that an aspiration system requires complex internal machinery, with lot of components. This means a more frequently maintenance and more expensive cost. Plus, it requires a technician which has knowledge about this kind of sweepers and electronics devices, because normally these machines have an internal computer that controls all the technological devices of the machine. Having so much technology, some times is unfavourable when the system or software breakdown: the machine stop working properly and it is needed to spend some days for detecting a software problem. THE MAINTENANCE COST for a Piquersa Sweeper, on its different models is 7.000 € / year for the BA-2000H model and 4.000 € for BA-2500-AC model. If these costs are compared with the cost of maintenance of any other sweeper the difference is evident.

COST OF THE MACHINE.
Because of all this technology, vacuum models are more expensive; it is logical, a more complex machinery carries a higher price of the product.
